Yoga on the Farm - May 20 @ 6 p.m.
Join us on the farm as we practice a relaxing yoga session with instructor Mary Beth McKinley.
Mary Beth fell in love with yoga while living in Seattle. After returning to her roots in Kentucky in 2008 when she married her longtime love, she wanted to deepen her own practice and pursued and completed her teacher training at Asheville Yoga Center with a vinyasa flow foundation. Yoga, pranayama, and meditation have been a tool in her own self-healing, family’s well-being, and motherhood journey.
Mary Beth enjoys crafting classes inspired by nature with a focus on pranayama, intuitive asana, and mind-body awareness while fostering a community of grace, gratitude and rest.
She also believes that no matter where you are in your yoga practice (beginner or long time practitioner) that we come to each class with a beginner mindset - heart open and ready to learn. Her passion is helping everyone who is ready... to find their yoga on and off the mat.
You can connect with Mary Beth in her online spaces. You can find her @ouryoganest in her Facebook community where she teaches how to create a calm and happy yoga presence at home even in the midst of your wild and crazy life. She offers private sessions, class and workshops retreats.
She is active on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/marybethmckinley/ and has recently created classes for free on her YouTube channel.
Attendees will receive a lavender roll-on and natural perfume from Woodstock Lavender Co. and a glass of lavender lemonade at the conclusion of the class.
Cost: $25.
Sorry, no refunds. We will hold the class outdoors, but in case of bad weather, we will move into the lavender barn.
