We are open seasonally.
We are currently closed, but will open for 2024 in May. View our event calendar here: https://woodstocklavenderco.simpletix.com/
Please help us keep the farm open to the public by only visiting at our set dates and times. We try really hard to be accommodating and love having you visit, but also need time with our family to work and play. We are only open a few days each year. Please plan accordingly.

FARM ADMISSION
- Do we need a reservation? We highly encourage you to purchase tickets in advance. Some classes and events typically sell out and parking is limited. Purchasing your tickets in advance allows us to better plan for your visit.
- Is there a parking fee? No, it is included with your pass.
- What is included in the ticket price? We love to host visitors on the farm. When you visit for a class, your class fee, parking, materials, snacks, and a bouquet of lavender is included. On You Cut days, any farm activities (like tours, live music, demonstrations, or tastings) are included, as well as your bouquet of lavender you cut from the field.
- Do you distill Lavender Essential Oil at the farm? Yes, but mostly for demonstration purposes.
- Do you have restrooms? We do! Yay!
- Do you welcome kids? Of course! You will often see our kids helping out. We only ask that you keep your children with you and supervise them at all times for their safety. For 2024, we're having a special kid's day that will be lots of fun on June 8.
PETS
- Do you allow dogs (or pets)? While we love dogs and other pets, they are not allowed on the farm. Only registered service animals will be permitted.
PICNICS
- Is there food available at the farm? Yes! New for 2023, we have a Food Truck! We well have a limited, but tasty, menu of treats, kids options, sandwiches, and salads, as well as lavender lemonade, for sale.
- Can we bring in a picnic lunch? Outside food is prohibited.
- Are tables available during the you-pick days? We will have tables set up both inside and outside the barn. Blankets are welcome too.
- Do you serve wine? We are in a dry county and cannot serve wine. We do have delicious lavender lemonade, though!
- Do you sell lemonade or other food items individually? Yes. It is available for purchase at our food truck, as well as water. Visitors are also welcome to bring water with you from home.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
- Do you allow photographers? Yes! If you are visiting the farm and would like to take pictures on anything other than a phone or small camera, you’ll need to arrange a session. Photographers are granted entrance to the farm one at a time and sessions must be scheduled ahead of time by emailing [email protected].
ACCESSIBILITY AND VISITING GUIDELINES
- Are you handicap accessible? No. We are a working farm, which means unpaved paths and land. We do try to keep our paths clear of debris for ease of wheelchair access and will do our best to accommodate you during your visit. We can even bring products out to your car to shop.
REFUNDS
- Do you offer refunds for ticketed events or classes? We do not offer refunds for cancellations of any reason. If you give us a call ahead of time (1 week prior) we MAY be able to switch your visit dates, but are otherwise non-refundable or transferrable. (Remember, we are a very small business. If you wouldn't ask a big business for a refund (think Ticketmaster), please don't do it to us.)
NATURAL HAPPENINGS
- We are a working farm! This means that this place is rustic and full of natural charm and authenticity. Lavender is planted in rock here and our ground may be unsteady. Wear sturdy shoes! Our lavender thrives because of our local sweet honeybees— if you are allergic to bee stings, please take precautions. We also suggest a hat or sunscreen when visiting. Of course, we cannot control the weather, but do our best to take care of our lavender so we have blooms. Kentucky is not an ideal place to grow lavender, so you will see some plants thriving and some failing. We enjoy participating in research to hopefully further the opportunities for lavender farmers in our area.
GETTING HERE
- Sometimes even Google can be wrong! We've heard from many folks that sometimes Google or Map Quest take you to a different location, most of the time advising you to turn off of Highway 39 onto a nearby road. DO NOT DO THIS. Our entrance is directly on Highway 39. We advise visitors to follow old-fashioned directions listed below:
- Coming from I-75: Take exit 62 for Mount Vernon toward Somerset. In a few miles, turn right on US-150 (sign says toward Stanford). In approx. 3 miles, turn left onto KY-70. Travel approx. 8 miles and turn left on KY-39 (you can't miss this...there are flashing red lights to prepare you to stop). Do not turn off of Hwy. 39 onto any side roads. Go approx. 1.5 miles and we are on the left.
- Coming from Somerset: Take Hwy. 39 North toward Crab Orchard for 13 miles. Once you pass the Woodstock Community Center, we are just up on the right. You'll see a large red horse barn behind the house. There is also a section of white fence by the drive. Do not turn on any side roads. We are right off Hwy. 39.
- From Danville/Stanford: Take US-27 South toward Somerset. Turn left on KY-70 (this will be at your second set of flashing yellow lights...there is also a set of flashing lights in Waynesburg, but keep going past that one). You'll see a Marathon station on the right at the KY-70 turn. Travel approx. 10-11 miles until you come to the flashing RED (stop) lights at KY-39. Turn right on KY-39. Go approx. 1.5 miles and we are on the left. Do not turn on any side roads. We are directly off Hwy. 39.
- From London: Take Hwy. 80 (Hal Rogers Parkway) to Somerset and turn right on Hwy. 39. Go 13 miles and we are on the right after you pass Woodstock Community Center. We are directly on Hwy. 39, so don't take any side roads. Coming this way, you can also take Pine Hall Road (Hwy. 1317). It's curvy, but does save you some time. You turn right on Pine Hall (right by the Dollar General) and follow signs to God's Helping Hands and/or Caanan Baptist Church. Take that road all the way to the end and turn right on Hwy. 39. Go around 6-7 miles and we'll be on the right after you pass Woodstock Community Center.
